OIL AND GAS BUSINESS
Since its inception, Intergroup has worked closely in the development of Qatar’s North Gas Field. Working with leading companies such as Bechtel, Brown Engineering, Kaverner, and Maersk Oil etc., Intergroup facilitates logistical support and services for drilling and offshore production platforms, including FSO’s, coil tubing, underwater pipeline repair and maintenance, inspection and certification for the two LNG companies, Ras Gas and Qatar Gas.
Intergroup has also facilitated a number of local services for implementation of the Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement (EPSA) for Block 5 offshore Qatar, granted to Maersk Oil in 1992. The Group is also involved in major government hydrocarbon projects such as construction of new petrochemical plants for Methanol and Ethylene, Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) High-density polyethylene (HDPE), and Hexene.
Intergroup’s partnership with the UK based firm “Hepworth”, involves the major plant for the production of a comprehensive range of industrial and commercial pipes, including PVC and Poly Ethylene pipes.
Intergroup also pursues joint-ventures in mechanical engineering. Working with a number of principals Intergroup provides a range of mechanical engineering construction services including piling and scaffolding.
Intergroup has been a reliable partner for decades to many companies such as Maersk of A.P. Moller of Denmark, Maersk Line, BDP Logistics, Chevron Phillips, Conoco Phillips, DHL, Dutco McConnell Dowell, Culligan and others.
